Common questions.

Perpetual or subscription — which should I buy? +

Subscription is cheaper year one and rolls with version updates. Perpetual is better if you have long project pipelines and prefer capex. We quote both so you can compare three-year TCO.

Can I run Pix4D on my own server? +

Yes. Pix4Dmapper, Matic and Engine run fully on-prem (Windows + NVIDIA GPU). Only Pix4Dcloud is hosted — we can also quote a private-cloud Pix4Dcloud Advanced deployment.

Does Pix4D support Emlid RTK ground control? +

Yes. Emlid Flow exports industry-standard CSV / DXF with cm-grade GCP coordinates that drop straight into any Pix4D tool.

What hardware do I need? +

For Matic / Mapper: Intel i7 or Ryzen 7, 32–64 GB RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3060 or better, NVMe SSD. We sell preconfigured workstations, or you can BYO — we will validate your rig.
