RedEdge-P
Flagship precision-agriculture sensor.
Five-band multispectral plus high-resolution panchromatic. Global shutter, synchronised captures and DLS 2 radiometric calibration — the reference sensor for drone-based agronomy.
MicaSense sensors set the standard for drone-based precision agriculture and plant-science research. Calibrated, synchronised, radiometrically consistent — the reference multispectral payloads.
Multispectral, with thermal on Altum-PT
Per-flight radiometric calibration
Synchronised global shutter capture
Processing software bundled
Five calibrated bands (plus thermal on Altum-PT) deliver scientifically valid indices. Downwelling Light Sensor (DLS 2) handles on-the-fly radiometric calibration so your outputs are comparable flight-to-flight and season-to-season — the difference between a pretty map and a decision-grade dataset.
We pair MicaSense with Pix4Dfields for agronomy teams and with Emlid RTK for survey-grade georeferencing. The result: reproducible zonation maps and variable-rate prescriptions that drop straight into your farm-management system.
Flagship precision-agriculture sensor.
Five-band multispectral plus high-resolution panchromatic. Global shutter, synchronised captures and DLS 2 radiometric calibration — the reference sensor for drone-based agronomy.
Research-grade 10-band system.
Two RedEdge-P bodies co-aligned. Ten narrow spectral bands across 400–900 nm for plant-science research, phenotyping and advanced vegetation analysis.
Multispectral + thermal + pan.
Single integrated payload: five multispectral bands, radiometric thermal, and a high-res panchromatic channel. One flight, every index plus irrigation-stress thermal.
Downwelling light sensor.
GPS-aware irradiance sensor that measures ambient light across every band during flight. Guarantees radiometric consistency between flights, sites and seasons.
Calibrated reflectance panel.
Factory-calibrated reference panel imaged before and after each flight. Backbone of MicaSense radiometric accuracy — pairs with every RedEdge and Altum.
Fast agronomy processing.
Preferred processing software for MicaSense outputs. NDVI / NDRE / custom index maps plus zonation, prescription output and export to farm-management systems.

Image the CRP panel before take-off. DLS 2 logs ambient irradiance across the whole flight.
Grid mission at 75–80% forward / 75% side overlap. Synchronised captures on every waypoint.
Ingest into Pix4Dfields or PIX4Dmapper. Radiometric calibration + orthomosaic + index stack in one job.
Zonation and prescription maps exported to your farm management or variable-rate controller.

Yes — DLS 2 handles in-flight variation (clouds, sun angle) but the calibrated reflectance panel anchors absolute reflectance. Together they give scientifically traceable outputs. Most agronomy and research customers use both.
If your primary workflow is agronomy NDVI / NDRE indices on broadacre crops, RedEdge-P is the sharper, cheaper, lighter pick. Choose Altum-PT if you need irrigation-stress thermal in a single flight or you work in water-stressed / high-value crops where canopy temperature matters.
Yes — RedEdge-P, RedEdge-P Dual and Altum-PT all ship with a DJI Skyport mount for the M300 / M350 RTK. Easepect ships the airframe, sensor and Skyport pre-configured.
Pix4Dfields for agronomy, PIX4Dmapper for photogrammetry workflows, or Agisoft Metashape. All three read MicaSense radiometric metadata natively. We bundle the right licence when you buy the sensor.
Yes. Every MicaSense sale includes a one-day field + office workshop in Singapore: flight planning, calibration routine, Pix4Dfields processing and index interpretation. Additional per-crop playbooks on request.
We supply the sensor, integrate it with your airframe and process the outputs in Pix4Dfields or Agisoft — end-to-end.
