How does Emlid compare to Leica / Trimble / Topcon? +

Same RTK accuracy for a fraction of the cost because Emlid bundles software (Flow, Studio) for free — no $3,000/year field-data licence on top. Legacy brands still edge Emlid on ultra-long baselines and certain bureau-level compliance scenarios. For 95% of Singapore and regional survey work, Emlid is the better value.

Does Emlid work with Singapore SiReNT? +

Yes. Reach RS3, RS4, RS4 Pro and RX connect to SiReNT over NTRIP. We ship receivers pre-configured with your SLA credentials — no first-day setup.

Can I use Emlid receivers for drone RTK? +

Yes. Reach M2 embeds into drones (event-marker + PPS timing), and RS3 serves as a base station for drones with RTK autopilots like DJI RTK-2 or Autel RTK.

Tilt compensation — is it really accurate? +

At up to 30° tilt, Emlid RS4-series + RX hold ~2 cm accuracy. Saves 30–40% of field time by eliminating pole levelling on corner shots and façade work.

What about PPK (post-processed kinematic)? +

Full support via Emlid Studio — free software for PPK, base-shift, static baselines and RINEX export. Useful where real-time NTRIP is unavailable.
